See Fraction Solutions
See Fraction Solutions is not just a regular calculator. It is an interactive, visual learning tool that shows the why behind the answer. Instead of only giving a result, it offers step-by-step visuals and multiple solution strategies (Cuisenaire® rods, decimal grids, number lines, and arithmetic) so learners can see how operations work and build deep understanding.
The tool is designed for use in the classroom and at home. Teachers and parents can reveal steps one at a time and use replay animations to pace lessons and support discussion, helping students understand the reasoning behind solutions rather than memorizing procedures.
See Fraction Solutions fills a gap in current learning tools by combining step-by-step visuals with multiple solution strategies in one place, so learners can compare approaches and find the one that makes the most sense to them.

Pokémon Card Price Tracker
A fun web app I created for my husband to track his personal want list for Pokémon cards. You browse cards in three groups (Master Set, Display Singles, Other Singles), see market prices by condition, mark cards as collected (purchase or trade), and optionally filter to still need only like a shopping list. On load (and when you refresh a tab), the app scrapes current Ungraded pricing from PriceCharting.com. Tapping a price row opens the right place: Ungraded → PriceCharting; Near Mint, Lightly Played, and other graded-style conditions → TCGplayer with the matching Condition query parameter.

She also presented the study findings at the 2019 STEM for All Video Showcase. For these publications, she:
- Tested for statistically significant differences between intervention and comparison students on demographic variables and baseline and outcome measures by producing Chi-square tests of independence, t-tests, p-values (corrected for multiple tests with the Benjamini-Hochberg procedure where appropriate), and Hedges’ g effect sizes
- Conducted a psychometric analysis of the student measures, including test reliability statistics (Cronbach’s alpha) and estimates of item difficulty and discrimination
- Assessed procedural fidelity and the quality of implementation of the intervention lessons, as well as inter-rater reliability of the fidelity data
- Produced correlation coefficients between measures of the quality of the intervention instruction and student baseline and outcome measures
- Tabulated and summarized data from teacher, tutor, and student surveys
Project Manager, project on improving algebraic reasoning for students with mathematics learning disabilities via evidence-based practices, professional development, and data-based instruction, funded by the Office of Special Education Programs (2018–2022). For these papers, she:
- Tested for statistically significant differences between intervention and comparison students on demographic variables and baseline measures by producing Chi-square tests of independence, t-tests, p-values, and effect sizes
- Tested for statistically significant differences between intervention and comparison students on outcome measures by producing ANCOVA-adjusted means and unadjusted standard deviations, p-values, and Hedges’ g effect sizes
- Conducted a psychometric analysis of the student measures, including test reliability statistics (Cronbach’s alpha) and estimates of item difficulty and discrimination
- Assessed procedural fidelity and the quality of implementation of the professional development sessions, as well as inter-rater reliability of the fidelity data
Research Associate, study of reliability and consequential validity of a mathematics diagnostic assessment system in Georgia, funded by the Regional Education Lab–Southeast (2019–2020). - Calculated the inter-assessor reliability of a mathematics diagnostic assessment system
- Evaluated the fidelity of assessment administration
- Performed a psychometric analysis of a teacher survey
- Conducted a qualitative analysis of teacher survey responses
- Created visuals to represent teacher survey data responses
